DoTM:
August 2025 DOTM has us headed to a place on earth that is the closest to the sun.  At first you are probably thinking Mt Everest.  That would be wrong.  Due to the earth's rotation, the centrifugal force causes the earth to bulge at the equator.  And that is where we are headed, the Chimborazo Mountain.  We will be taking off from Los Perales (SESV), flying southeast until we find Chimborazo, then turning south to land at Mariscal Lamar (SECU).

HDoTM:

August HDOTM takes to the Big Apple.  We will be taking off from Essex County (KCDW) and headed east to the Hudson River.  Make sure to stay north enough to stay out of Teterboro's airspace.  When you reach the river head south following the Hudson heading towards the statue of Liberty where you will turn sharp left to Downtown Manhattan Heliport (KJRB).  Also, VFR traffic on the Hudson heading south stays on the west side of the river as north bound VFR is on east side.
