What a nightmare of an approach. On final, I flew through no less than (3) wind shears. The winds on the ground were 15° off the nose at 15 knots, gusting to 23 kts. The strong winds caused my aircraft to stay in ground effect much longer than normal. I was running out of runway fast so I had to force it on the runway (I already had to do one missed & wasn\'t keen on doing another). But the landing wasn\'t too bad. Thus ends my tour of the Canada Capitols. |
