Gary Barns	As I was finishing up my lunch, I noticed that the air temp was getting cooler quicker than usual. As I looked off towards the west I could see the cloud layer was dropping. So not knowing how low it would go, I fired up the Howard and headed out. The clouds were down to around 3500 so I leveled off just below them. Also the visibilty had dropped to around 5-7 SM. Approx. 40 miles west of Palwaukee, I flew through a mild wind shear and the altimeter dropped around 400 ft. It got fairly bumpy for a few milles. But after about 30 more miles, the sky started to clear and the air became smoother. This made for a good approach into Iowa City. Taxied on in, dropped off (3) mail packets and made a mad dash to the head. To be continued...
