Description: Description: Crossing the Atlantic by Clipper! Demonstrating the timeless capabilities of the Douglas DC-3, PMDG brought the Clipper Tabitha May to Europe in honor of the 75th anniversary of D-Day and to help celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift. They planned a number of stops along the journey that were focused on the people, places and accomplishments of Pan American World Airways and we will be documenting the journey. Daks Over Normandy is the organization to be credited with bringing together more than 40 C-47/DC-3 aircraft in support of the 75th anniversary of the Allied invasion of Normandy. The Clipper and Crew was based initially out of Duxford and the Imperial War Museum in support of these operations. Join in the journey, and be part of living history. Tour provided by MEC007 Jeff H.
